Monthly Meetings

  • 1st Thursdays at St. Catherine’s Parish Hall in Norwood @ 7 PM

  • What do monthly NCC meetings typically look like?

    • Socializing, catching up, meeting new faces

    • Ice breaker activity, game, or challenge

    • Prayer

    • Presentation or talk on preselected theme or topic

      • Past Themes: ENCOUNTER Jesus Christ; IDENTITY as Beloved Sons & Daughters; MISSION to Love God and Love People; SOLIDARITY as One Human Family; The Gifts of the Holy Spirit Series

    • Large and small group discussions

    • Meeting format may vary slightly from month to month and may include…

      • Personal witnesses or testimonies

      • Watching/ discussing YouTube video

      • Lectio Divina


bible Study

  • Bi-weekly Thursdays @ 7 PM

  • Read, reflect, and discuss various parts of the Bible with other young adults who desire to grow closer to God through His Living Word

  • Previous studies have included…

    • Ecclesiastes

    • Gospel of Matthew

    • Upcoming Sunday Mass readings

  • No preparation needed and no pressure to be a biblical scholar

  • Bibles are provided, but feel free to bring your own

ADORATION & DINNER

  • 1st Fridays at St. Catherine’s in Norwood @ 6:30 - 7:30 PM

    • Chapel in back of church

  • Dinner at local restaurant to follow ~7:45 PM - 10 PM


nursing home visits

  • 3rd Sundays at Doolittle Nursing Home in Foxboro @ 1:00 - 2:00 PM

  • Play BINGO and spend time with the residents of Doolittle

  • This is a great opportunity to give your time to a group of people who do not always get a lot of visitors. As we hope to brighten their days, they always brighten ours!

  • In December, we collaborate with the youth group from St. Mary’s of Holliston’s to host a Christmas Party at Doolittle—an afternoon full of caroling, dancing, laughing, and enjoying sweet treats.
